Shipping & Incoterms for Garment Accessories
Shipping Incoterms for garment accessories define where cost, tasks and risk move between buyer and seller. Put the chosen rule, version and named place on the quotation, then separate production timing from freight and customs planning.
Choose the shipping term by responsibility
EXW planning
Buyer arranges collection and the onward transport scope from the named premises. Confirm loading and export-formality responsibility.
FOB planning
Used for vessel transport at a named port. Define origin handling, export clearance and the exact handover point.
Delivered planning
State the named destination and whether freight, brokerage, duties, taxes or final delivery are included or excluded.
Trace every movement between packed order and buyer
Each step needs an owner, document and status signal.

Open product →Which shipping Incoterm is best for garment accessories?
The right term depends on the buyer’s import capability, destination, freight volume and need for cost visibility. Compare the named place, included services and handover point in the quotation.
What is the difference between EXW and FOB?
EXW places collection and most transport formalities with the buyer from the named premises. FOB applies to vessel shipments and transfers responsibility at the agreed port stage. Confirm the current Incoterms rule and named location in the contract.
Does DDP include every possible charge?
The quotation must state the destination, duties, taxes, brokerage, remote-area charges and exclusions. Never infer full landed coverage from the three letters alone.
Should trims move by air or sea freight?
Air can suit urgent or compact shipments, while sea can suit larger planned volumes. Compare chargeable weight, schedule, handling and inventory timing for the actual cartons.
What export documents may be needed?
Commercial invoice, packing list, transport document and origin or compliance records may be requested. Requirements vary by product, route and destination.
How should shipping be quoted?
State carton assumptions, gross weight, dimensions, origin, exact destination, requested delivery window, Incoterm and named place.
Build a quote around the named destination
Send product quantities, pack needs, address, required arrival date and preferred shipping term.
